Swaps to Share

Once again, I'm going to try to be better about posting on a more regular basis (wish me luck!)

I thought I would share some swaps that I saw at convention.  These swaps are NOT in my possession, I snapped pictures of my friend LeeAnn Greff's swaps and do NOT know the name of the artist.  So if you recognize one of your swaps please shout out so I may give you the appropriate credit.  Thanks for sharing!

While at convention my roommate Kris Thomas gave us these adorable gifts!  I LOVE it so much, those are fuzzy socks in the top!

And look at this cute punch art tag!  Its the Petite Pennants Builders Punch and the Cupcake punch.
Sage and I might make these for party favors for her next birthday party!

I made these notepad holders for my downline who attended convention.  The inside has a pocket to hold miscellaneous receipts and such.

I liked how well these turned out so much that I decided to do a class on making them!  I thought these would totally make a great teacher or co-worker gift for Christmas (or Birthday).  I used the new Alphabet set for the Big Shot called Typeset Alphabet Bigz.  The class for these will be August 25 at 1pm.  You can make one or multiple ones.  The cost for the first one is $8 and $5 for each additional one.  And of course this includes the matching pen. Please RSVP by August 11.

As most of you know, I earned the Stampin' Up! Fiji trip.  Well my sweet sweet husband had this adorable cake waiting for me when I returned home from convention..............it was his first attempt with fondant and I think he did an awesome job.

Its an island made with rice krispy treats,so are the palm trees and you can see little fish off to the side and of course the white is beach!  And a treat of Fiji bottled water for me.
He's so proud of me for earning it an of course he's so excited to be going in 10 months!  Thanks again to all of you who made it happen!

Let the Stamping Begin!!

Good Afternoon Ladies!

I've made it here to Stampin' Up!'s convention safely.  I've done a quick looky lou around at all the great things Stampin' Up! has to show.  But I know for some of you demos out there........you always want to know what the bags look like this year!  So here you go.............

If you look really close at my name tag, you'll see my Fiji pin!!!  WOO HOO!  Thank you to everyone who made it possible!

The above signs are what you see when you walk into the gathering place.  Not only a giant creative, but unique, etc.  This year's theme is I am,,,,,,,,,,,,,,creative, unique, funny, whatever YOU are.  We don't actually start classes until tomorrow, but wanted to share the great set up that Stampin' Up! always has to share.

When you walk into The Demo Resources area its like walking into a market place.  They have fun, bright banners hanging and a showcase of different products on giant chalk boards.

Here's a few............

I'll post more later tonight if I have a chance.  I hope you can join me next year for the 25th Anniversary!!!!

Getting Ready for Convention!

Good Morning! So Stampin' Up!'s convention starts in just a few days and I'm super excited about it!  I love going and just hanging out with my friends and learning new techniques and business ideas.  I think I've told you this before but Edwin calls it my "living the highlife tour"! Because I stay in a nice hotel and generally have a few nice dinners away from home!  And of course we go visit the Red Door and try different Martini's.  They are NOT your M*A*S*H Martini's.  These are like desserts and they are divine!
So anyway I asked hubby if I could take his netbook to blog about convention, since its so much smaller than my laptop.  And that's what I'm using now to see if I can figure it out.  So far so good, but lets see if I can upload a picture!

One of things I'm participating in is a Punch Art Swap.  I really excited about it because I just love punch art.  So here's my punch art its a little hard to see the white on white, but my little lamb is stinking cute!

OK, make sure you check back on Wednesday to see what's happening at Stampin' Up!'s convention.
Have a great weekend!

Back Home Again!

Good Evening!

As some of you know, we took our family vacation last week and got home late Saturday.  So of course Sunday was laundry day and napping day!  But today I was in my craft room creating, but before I show you one of the cards we'll be making this month....just had to share a few pictures of my cute family!

We were in the north woods of Wisconsin at my Aunt Dorothy's cabin.  Its beautiful there but pretty remote.  Its on a creek that leads to multiple lakes so we had lots of fishing and canoeing to do! Thanks Aunt Dorothy!
But this year we took a day trip up to the Apostle Islands.  WOW, looking out at Lake Superior was just, well it just tells you that there is a God!  And His creations are way beyond our comprehension!
Every step I took along the path along the lake just made me praise  Him more!

This picture is with Lake Superior as our background and we are actually standing on Madeline Island in the State Park there.

We brought our niece, Piper with us and this picture makes me think we are at the ocean! Even the girls thought it was the coolest thing!

OK, thanks for indulging me!  This month Stampin' Up! is running a special, where if you purchase $50 in product, you get get this awesome stamp set called Reason to Smile, for just $5 in wood mount OR clear!  What a deal.  So this is the card we'll be making this month.  I totally got the ideas from Bonnie Klass.  Thanks Bonnie!

I added Teeny Tiny Wishes "I'm so Sorry" and used the Designer Series paper called Polka Dot Parade, in Marina Mist and that is Old Olive.

Remember you can order anytime on my website at www.robynscherzer.stampinup.net.
