Four Frames

Here's a sneak peek of one of the awesome sets that is going to be in the Big Idea Book and Catalog.
Its called Four Frames and coordinates with the Decorative Label Punch.
So here's my creation.  I LOVE that Teeny Tiny Wishes fits into the frames perfectly.  I used Pumpkin Pie and Pear Pizzaz.  And the leaves are from Great Friend.

I'm doing a Four Frames stamp a stack on April 30 at 2PM, if you are local to the area give me a shout!  I'd love to have you!

Another Big Shot Project

In the Big Shot Class I mentioned in the last post, we also did some embossing on metal.
I got the idea to do it from Stampin' Up!'s Stampin Success magazine.  Only available to active demonstrators, to which we receive once a month.
I had a roll of this beautiful copper that I bought at a hobby store and look how beautiful it turned out!!

I used the Elegant Lines embossing folder along with Night of Navy cardstock and Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  I cut out the butterflies with the Beautiful Wings embosslit and the R was cut out with the Timeless Alphabet.   I was surprised how deep the embossing looks.  I just love it!  And some of the gals commented that they loved making something personal for them!  I'll keep that in mind......have a great day!

Big Shot Class!

Last night was one of my Big Shot Classes and I just have to say....I have the best customers in the world!  They are all so gracious, sweet and FUNNY!!!  They had me laughing the whole time and they are so good natured about poking fun back at them.
So I just want to say THANK YOU!!  to everyone that came last night.

Here are some of the projects we did last night.  This first one is a card that I CASED from Ronda Wade.  I just changed the colors along with a few other tweaks.  Color is Regal Rose.  The embossing folder Elegant Bouquet was used for the white cardstock and the bigger butterfly was also embossed with it.
We used the bigz Beautiful Butterflies die to cut out the butterflies.  And the body of the butterfly is the Basic Rhinestones.  Saying is from Sincere Salutations.

The next project was a cupcake box.  And I got the idea from Splitcoaststampers and now of course I can't find the gal who inspired it!  So if its you, please take credit.  You are genius!!
Its using the Petal Cone die in the Occasions Mini.  I saw all these awesome projects done at the Minneapolis Regional and I swear I wasn't going to buy it.  But after seeing all the cool things you can do with it,  I HAD to have it.

Designer Series Paper is from the stack you can buy for each color family.  I just recently "noticed" these stacks in the big Idea Book and bought the Brights Collection and just love it!!  You get 40 sheets of 10 different colors.  And its only a little over .50 cents a sheet.  Now you can't beat that!!!  This cupcake is done with Pumpkin Pie and Very Vanilla.

I'll post the other two projects we did in the next few days.

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Just a quick card before I leave for work.  This is a card that I did as a swap for my downline meeting and one of my clubs.

I took inspiration from a few places and changed it up a little.

The colors used are Old Olive and Certainly Celery with my base being Crumb Cake.  DSP used is the Holly Jolly!  And I created my little shamrock with the small heart punch and used the Rhinestone jewels to put in the center.  And of course Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  If you don't  have it, get it, its a must have!

Have a safe day!

Crazy for Cupcakes Bag

So I totally CASED this little project from Angie Juda.  I changed up the colors but that's about it.
We did this bag at a birthday workshop for one of my good customers.  So easy and so stinking cute!

I used Pretty in Pink cardstock along with Early Espresso.  It would make a GREAT party favor bag for a birthday.

The inside bag is one of those little craft bags you can get at the craft store.  You'll want to trim off the top so cut it to 4 3/8".  Back piece is 5 3/4" x 3 5/8" and scored at 1 1/4".  This makes the flap come over the top.  The front piece is 4 1/2" x 3 5/8".  The piece with the cupcake stand is Shimmer White cardstock and measures 2"x3".  And I just went up a 1/4" for each piece it was layered with.  And that whole piece is velcro'd on to the front piece.

If you have any questions feel free to email me!

Tulip Frame

Good Morning Everyone!
Well its been a while since I posted and I apologize for that.  I just can never figure out where the time goes!

Just a quick post before I'm off to a birthday workshop.  We did this cute card at my workshops last month.  I saw a great tutorial on how to resize the Tulip Frame embossing folder and of course now I can't find the link.  But its super easy.  You just cut your paper to 4 1/8" x 4 1/8" and bring it through you Big Shot like normal.  Of course it would go all the way to the bottom.  But than once you've done the first run, you move your piece to the bottom of the folder where you cardstock hasn't been embossed.  It will kind of fit into your already embossed groves.  And just put it back through the Big Shot a little bit, like a turn or two and back it back out.  Super easy and really cute!

I used the stamp set Great Friend, Pink Pirouette and Basic Gray.  I would never think of using this together but the gal that did the tutorial did and they are just beautiful!!  Enjoy!

Regional Swap

I was inspired for this card by another card I saw on SCS.  I would never have thought to do white on white.  But I couldn't bring myself to just leave it, so I did sponge some Perfect Plum around the inside square. This is the card I swapped at the Minneapolis Regionals.  I used the Poppin Pastels technique and the NEW Framed Tulips embossing folder #121809 that you can find in the Occasions Mini.  The colors used were Perfect Plum and Certainly Celery.  And of course the stamp set is a Level One Hostess stamp set called Because I Care.  I have found MANY uses for it and love it.

If you are hostessing a workshop this month or coming to any of my workshops, this is one of the cards we will be making.  Hope you can come!
