Better Late than never!

Good Evening Everyone!

I know this is about 11 days behind, but wanted to share some Halloween treat ideas along with some fun Halloween pictures!

So this is Sage and Dad, she was the zombie ballerina and he was the zombie dad

Sage and her cousin Piper.  She was an Marinette puppet.  It was really cute!

I made these for the gals I work with.  I had all the tags left over from making all the bags below for Sage's class.

Filled with pencils, pumpkin erasers and candy.  Embossed with the spider web.  Think about it, you could emboss with Northern Flurry and fill will Christmas Candy and use the Christmas tag set for tags!  Those googlie eyes just get me everytime!  I love them!

More Halloween Fun!

So I had my clubs last week.  And one of the requirements of my club is you have to make swaps.  I don't restrict to Stampin' Up! only, so I don't always share them even though I think they are stinking cute!  But since I talked about in my last post sharing Halloween projects, I thought these two fit the bill.

This first one was from Melissa Ansburg.  She's one of my new downline but she's also in my Lunatic Fringe club.  She embossed the Tangerine Tango with the Spider Web embossing folder and she wanted to make it sturdier so she used poster board.  But you could use the board that comes in our DSP packs.  Cute AND Yummy!

This second one is from my friend, Natalie Bauman.  I love Natalie, she's upbeat and thoughtful and so so creative!  I know this is not only SU! product but for the most part it is.  She used Toxic Treats and Wicked Cool stamp sets.

I love that she used the rosette on the card.  And the color gradient on the witch.

Happy Almost Halloween!

Good Morning!

Wow, I have to apologize to everyone who checks out my blog on a regular basis.  I didn't realize it had been soooo long since I posted.  I have tons to share and I guess I just need to schedule time for this!
With Halloween right around the corner, I'm going to share some fun Halloween projects over the next few days.
Sage had her first Halloween activity already and we had lots of thoughts going on in the
Scherzer house on what she should be.  Well, since she loves Ballet and is an aspiring ballerina, we decided why not a Zombie Ballerina??  This is her friend Kilee and her on their way to their school's Spooktacular Dance on Friday.

Scary!!!

Last month, I had a hostess who wanted to do some scrapbook pages, so since Halloween was so close,  we did Halloween pages.

I just love Stampin' Up!'s glitter paper.  And we used the Googlie Ghouls set.  I just LOVE those googlies eyes!

And of course a witch needs a cat!  The Frightening Feline wins out on this one.  We put a rhinestone collar on her to give her a little witchy class.

And since we no longer sell that bat punch :(, we made our own.

Easy Peasy!  You take the square scallop punch, punch out your paper, fold it into a triangle and just snip at an angle parallel to the scallops and you turn back the snipped piece to create ears.  And of course had to add the googlie eyes!!!

Oh, I almost forgot!  Stampin' Up! just updated the Clearance Rack, so go check it out!

September Cards

Good Evening!

Just wanted to share two of the cards we made at our workshops this month.

This first one you might recognize it from a post from convention, it was a swap that a friend had that I snapped a picture of.  I changed it a little because if you have a spider web you need a spider!!

I know you can't really see it in this picture but he had to have the googlie eyes!  I love that bundle.  Sage and I will have to get busy making treat bags for her classmates!

Our next card was inspired by a card I saw on my friend LeAnn Greff's blog.  Again, I changed it up just a bit and I used the new Dahlia's.  Awesome!

One of my club member had bought the stamp set Bootiful Occasions and I had seen so many fun things to do with it that I said I'd borrow it and do some fun things for club.....so there you have it!

Holiday Mini Samples

Good Evening!
I hope you all had a relaxing Labor Day!  It was a busy fun time at the Walworth County Fair.  Its so bitter sweet, because we love the fair but it means the end of summer.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and visited with Edwin or I.   I love meeting new people and seeing people I haven't seen in a while and catching up!

I even met an old old friend who I went to 2nd and 3rd grade with!  She recoginzed me after almost 40 years!  I was totally blown away.  Just wonderful memories!

So as usual I was lame and didn't bring my camera.  BUT I went to visit my demo friend, Kristen Evert, a couple weeks ago and she had just had her Holiday Open House and I actually had my camera with me!!  So I asked if I could snap some pictures of her awesome projects.
So here you go....enjoy!  Don't forget you can order all these wonderful products online at www.robynscherzer.stampinup.net.

Getting Ready for Halloween!

I know, I know what??  But really it will be here before you know it!~
I had my group meeting on Wednesday and I had Donna and Kris share what they learned at convention.  Or at least one thing they learned.............

I believe both of these projects were presented by Shannon West.  So stinking cute!
This first one is the Petite Purse Big Shot die cut down to make this cute little box.  And of course, the set is from the Holiday mini called Monster Munchies.  If you look really close, you'll see his bolts are brads!  Thanks to Kris Thomas for recreating Shannon's project.

This next project Donna Marcil recreated with the Ghoulish Googlies bundle on page 27 of the Holiday Mini.  The bag is run through the Big Shot with the Chevron embossing folder.  Donna gave each one of us who attended one of these.  LOVE IT!  I think we'll be making those next month at my clubs.

I did the make and take for us all.  We created this present topper, brooch, ornament thingy, whatever you want to call it with the new Scalloped Tulle Ribbon found on page 4 of the Holiday mini. And the Jumbo Sticky Rounds found on page 31 of the Holiday mini.  I LOVE those things.  I hadn't even noticed them until they used them at convention!
The center is cut from Fun Flowers Bigz die and embossed with the new embossing folder called Lacy Brocade on page 6 of the Holiday mini.  And of course the center is an antique brad.

I think for Christmas using this a bow is just magical!  The new scalloped ribbon is 10 yards for only 6.95.  I'll be buying ALOT of that for my Christmas gifts!

Check back in a few days for some of the swaps that were shared.

Swaps to Share

Once again, I'm going to try to be better about posting on a more regular basis (wish me luck!)

I thought I would share some swaps that I saw at convention.  These swaps are NOT in my possession, I snapped pictures of my friend LeeAnn Greff's swaps and do NOT know the name of the artist.  So if you recognize one of your swaps please shout out so I may give you the appropriate credit.  Thanks for sharing!
