Stampin' Up! Leadership-Orlando 2013 Highlights

Have you ever been to a PJ Party with 1500 people?  Well I have!

I tried really hard to post to my blog while at Leadership but the internet there was a nightmare.  So I'll do a quick summary here.

Thursday night was the Manager's Reception at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios.  Honestly, I felt like I had just stepped onto the movie set.  It was amazing and a total spoil for all demonstrator who were at the title of Manager and above. We were greeted with yummy Butterbeer which seemed to me to be something similar to a Root Beer Float but not with the strong flavor.  And a fabulous array of food from the Three Broomsticks Restaurant.  It was soooo good!

They had a replica of the Hogwarts Express.  It was very cool.  We were the ONLY group there and no waiting in lines.  I went on the ride called Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.  It was a replica of Hogwarts.  Honestly with only a few hundred of us there, it still took 10 minutes to walk to where the ride started, through the castle.  It was so cool, the talking pictures asking why there were muggles in Hogwarts, the Sorting Hat, advising that anyone smaller than a goblin was not allowed to ride.  They did an amazing job at replicating it.  I love, love  roller coasters but this was NOT a roller coaster it was one of those simulators, like your flying and I about lost it.  YIKES.

On the way out of the castle I ran across some students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang.

Friday was spent in amazing business classes and a wonderful sit down lunch among women who share my passion.

That night was our PJ party, here's a picture of my roommate Kristen Evert and I at the PJ Party.  It was basically hanging out in our jammies and listening at General Session and watching great stamping presentations.  And course milk and cookies afterwards!

And to end this post, my roommate gifts!  I made notebooks to take all the notes we'd be getting from this 2 day event and of course a matching pen.  Kristen is a vintage girl and this is what I came up with.  Oh yea, I made one for me too!
