Regional Swap

I was inspired for this card by another card I saw on SCS.  I would never have thought to do white on white.  But I couldn't bring myself to just leave it, so I did sponge some Perfect Plum around the inside square. This is the card I swapped at the Minneapolis Regionals.  I used the Poppin Pastels technique and the NEW Framed Tulips embossing folder #121809 that you can find in the Occasions Mini.  The colors used were Perfect Plum and Certainly Celery.  And of course the stamp set is a Level One Hostess stamp set called Because I Care.  I have found MANY uses for it and love it.

If you are hostessing a workshop this month or coming to any of my workshops, this is one of the cards we will be making.  Hope you can come!

  7. Hi Robyn, I like the layout you designed for your card. I use that embossing folder a lot.
Haven't done poppin pastels in years. I should give it a go again.

  8. I like how you used the poppin pastels technique with this stamp. It's a perfect combo. Love the soft deicate colouring of the frame as well. Give it a feminine, romantic feel.
