Regional Swap

I was inspired for this card by another card I saw on SCS.  I would never have thought to do white on white.  But I couldn't bring myself to just leave it, so I did sponge some Perfect Plum around the inside square. This is the card I swapped at the Minneapolis Regionals.  I used the Poppin Pastels technique and the NEW Framed Tulips embossing folder #121809 that you can find in the Occasions Mini.  The colors used were Perfect Plum and Certainly Celery.  And of course the stamp set is a Level One Hostess stamp set called Because I Care.  I have found MANY uses for it and love it.

If you are hostessing a workshop this month or coming to any of my workshops, this is one of the cards we will be making.  Hope you can come!

Sunny Fun!!

Good Morning!
I just got back from the Stampin' Up! Minneapolis regionals and am feeling refreshed and inspired!
Going to a Stampin' Up! event is so fun and amazing.  If you are not a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I encourage you to join.  Right now the starter kit is 15% off so about $145, FREE shipping, AND an additional $50 bundle of products, the color coach being one of them and if you sign up in the next 2 weeks with me you'll earn an additional stamp set that is not even out yet!!!  Its a new set from the Summer Mini Catalog, called Sunny Fun.  This is well over $350 worth of product for an amazing price!!!
I got a sneak peek of the Sunny Fun at regionals and I snapped a not so great picture of some samples done with it.  Now keep in mind, this is only if you sign up through me.  Its a special for attendees of the regional only. But you must sign up by February 24, 2011 to be eligible.

I would love for you to join my team "The Craft Pots".  I provide monthly meetings and 24 hour support, ok maybe not 24 hours but for sure when I'm awake!  Go to my website:  http://www.robynscherzer.stampinup.net/ and hit the join button.  You'll need the code word:  wisconsin to join.

Have a great day!!

D is For Dog

I'm sure if you know us, you know we got puppies back in November.  So I've been a little obsessed with dogs.  I've had this stamp set forever and I haven't used it!  So I was wanting to use it but no inspiration was coming into the head!  So of course off I went to SCS to find someone who had that inspiration!  Well I found it and I copied this one to the last detail.  Usually I change things up, but I really liked what Qbee did, check it out here.  I must give credit where credit is due.  Maybe someday, I'll come up with my own idea!!

I used More Mustard for the dog and did a "shadowing technique" with him.  Where you just ink up your stamp once and keep stamping.  I love how it turned out like he's moving.  Early espresso is the frame and the blue is Pacific Point.  If you look closely his collar is also Pacific Point.  We also did this card in January's Technique University.  We have 6 months left, so there is still time to join!

GO PACK GO!!!

So I haven't posted in a while due to internet issues but they now seem to be resolved...so because we are a Green Bay Packer house, I have to post this picture first.  I've been sick all weekend but Edwin and Sage were ready to go to a Super Bowl party in all their Packer gear.  Sage even painted her finger nails the green and gold!  The trophy is coming home!!!

I'll post some cards tonight, so stop back by tomorrow!!
